The breed of Royalty – which originated in China and was owned by the influential and wealthy. They were treated with the best of everything and much pampered. In the sixteenth century when China started trading with Europe, the visitors brought the breed to our shores. Here today, the sweet and charming Pug is one our most popular breeds.
