Jim has almost forty years experience working as a professional artist and Illustrator. He continues to be an enthusiastic and prolific painter and his work can regularly be found in local exhibitions and galleries around Tayside and Angus
Jim enjoy the challenge of capturing the elusive light and texture that filters through Scottish forests and mountains and is constantly striving to create drama and atmosphere in his paintings. Jim works mostly in watercolour as he enjoy the spontaneity and unpredictability of the medium.
