Judith Reekie

Judie lives and paints in Angus surrounded by the beautiful countryside that helps encourage and inspire her work.
After some study and lots of practice she is developing her own technique with pastel in particular and has painted enthusiastically in her spare time.
Life became busier as her work started to sell and with the encouragement of family and friends her popularity grew.
Judie’s favorite medium is probably pastel crayon, though sometimes oil is used.
This allows her to create the subtle tones that are evident in her pictures, especially her flower studies.
